COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT | SERVICE
I serve on the Regional Steering Committee for the Midwestern Public Health Training Center, Iowa’s Center for Congenital and Inherited Disorders Advisory Committee (Chair Elect), Iowa’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Advisory Committee, Iowa Public Health Workforce Coalition (core group, visioning group), Iowa Tobacco Prevention Alliance Board of Directors and as a grant reviewer for several non-profit health organizations. Previously I served on the board of directors for the Friends of the Franklin Avenue Library because I love public libraries almost as much as I love public health.
