Danielle Pettit-Majewski - Affiliate Representative to APHA Governing Council



Danielle Pettit-Majewski is the Administrator at Washington County Public Health in Washington, Iowa. She has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Iowa (2008) and an MPH in Community Behavioral Health from the University Of Iowa College Of Public Health (2010). Danielle joined Washington County Public Health in 2013, and spends much of her time writing grants, overseeing programs, focusing on advocacy and working on Emergency Preparedness.

Prior to Washington County Public Health, Danielle served as a Clinic Manager at Waverly Health Center overseeing primary care clinics. She currently serves on various coalitions and committees including: the Iowa Public Health Association Board of Directors, Iowa Public Health Membership Committee, Vice Chair of the Public Health Advisory Council, Chair of University Of Iowa College Of Public Health Advisory Council, Washington County Emergency Preparedness Consortium, Washington County Mini Bus Board, Hawkeye Area Community Action Plan Site Council, Mental Health Access Coalition, Washington Farmer’s Market Advisory Board, and Washington County Wellness Coalition.
